Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 official for Nov. 12, 2011, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to a report from Bad Left Hook. In two previous bouts, "Pac-Man" won a split decision over "Dinamita" in 2008 following their controversial draw back in 2004.

Manny Pacquiao will defend his WBO (World Boxing Organization) Welterweight Belt against Juan Manuel Marquez on November 12. The Welterweight Division has a weight limit of 147 pounds but since both camp agreed to fight at a “catch-weight”, the weight limit will be at 144 pounds. If someone is above the weight limit, he will be penalized and pay a huge amount to the opponent.

Manny Pacquiao, a congressman in the Philippines, has been fighting in the higher weight classes lately. He is on a 14 winning streak and his fight last November 2010, against Antonio Margarito, was the highest weigh division he’s been, at 154 lbs.

Marquez won two straight fights and his last defeat was against Floyd Mayweather Jr. in September 2009. He is scheduled to a tune-up fight against David Diaz in July but the negotiations fell because of money issues. This time, Marquez is looking for opponents that will not give too much risk.

Marquez will get $5 million plus PPV incentives while Pacman is expected to get $15 million. If Juan Manuel wins the Marquez vs Pacquiao fight, he will fight Manny again in May 2011 and his guaranteed money will become $10 million.
